IDEAL FOR VENEERED DOORS

Osmo Door-Oil is a unique oil and wax combination designed to protect interior veneered wooden doors. The unique formulation penetrates the wood surface which remains microporous and whilst the finish will not crack, peel, flake or blister. The surface also becomes healthy and elastic, and the wood's fibres are prevented from becoming dry and brittle over time as well as shrinking and swelling.

The wood's true beauty is accomplished by using Osmo Door-Oil. The emphasis on the wood's grain and natural characteristics provides a warm and rich effect to ensure that any interior room looks luxurious and elegant. Each wood has its own style and unique charm, and is seductive from the first sight.

3060 1L Clear Satin Door Oil

A little goes a long way. I had 5 oak Dordogne doors from Howdens. Needed 2 coats as even after a sand the first coat raised the grain. I did lightly sand back between coats and then wiped down with white spirit before applying each coat. I found it went on best with a brush, then I lightly rubbed off the excess oil with a cloth. I would say drying time is longer than stated, and I left 48 hours between coats but it has been very hot weather so that may have been the influencing factor.
