Durable Plastering Trowels for Smooth, Even Application
At Build & Plumb, we stock a broad range of plastering tools and building supplies, whether you’re a trade professional or a serious DIYer.
Our plastering tool collection includes high-quality trowels for even application and durable rendering buckets for the perfect even mix. Plastering floats help you create even, polished surfaces, while our reliable mixing paddles ensure your plaster mixes are lump-free and ready to apply.
How do I choose the Right Plastering Trowel?
1. Area size: Large areas will require a 12-14-inch trowel, while smaller surfaces will need a 7-10-inch trowel for better control and precision.
2. Blade Shape: A rectangular trowel is best for a large, flat surface, whereas pointed trowels are useful for edges and curves. Choose flexible blades for an even, smooth finishing coat.
3. Blade Material: If you’re a tradesperson, stainless steel is your best option. It has rust-resistant properties and ensures a smooth edge. For finishing passes, a plastic trowel achieves a flawless surface.
4. Task Specific Trowels:
Standard Trowel: Great for general application.
Bucket Trowel: For scooping and transferring plaster from the mixing bucket.
Corner Trowel: For shaping and smoothing internal or external corners.
Margin Trowel: For patching, mixing, or working in tight spots.
Our fabulous range includes scrapers, spatulas, and finishing tools for tidy edges, corners, and intricate areas. Explore our plastering tools today and equip yourself with everything you need for fast, flawless, and reliable plastering.
