Buff Classic Sandstone Paving Slabs are part of the Pavestone Classic Sandstone range and are available in four different size formats of slab - sold in four separate single size packs and two contractor packs of mixed sizes (64 and 23 pieces).

The slabs are ideal for a variety of home and garden styles, with their warm yellow/golden tones providing a stunning natural stone canvas. Their surface is riven and the slabs have hand-cut edges - giving this paving a relaxed, natural ease in keeping with outdoor living and comfort.

Natural Sandstone

Part of the charm of natural stone slabs is that each one is coloured or patterned differently. When these buff sandstone slabs are laid down on your patio or terrace you’ll have a beautiful natural tapestry blending gentle variations of hue and pattern, to provide you with garden paving that is entirely unique.

Patio Paving

Buff Classic Sandstone is ideal for patios and garden paving - its natural colouration, stability and texture means it is perfect for outdoor living areas where the family can get together to enjoy the garden and sunshine!

Size-Formats & Pack Options

The Classic Sandstone range offers you a huge degree of versatility. Buff Classic Sandstone is offered in four paving slab size-formats and sold in six different pack options:

290mm x 290mm

600mm x 290mm

600mm x 600mm

900mm x 600mm

Pointing your patio couldn’t be any easier! Gone are the days of time-consuming traditional pointing with sand and cement. Paving Direct recommends using a ‘Brush in Grout’ such as Pavestone Pointfix.

Pointfix is a two-part jointing compound. One pack contains epoxy resin within the compound and the other epoxy hardener. Mixing and applying Pointfix is much cleaner and easier than traditional sand and cement mortar as you simply just mix the contents within the tub and brush into the joints.

Pointfix is available to buy in two options. Either as a single tub to get the exact amount needed, or if you are buying our 18.85 or 20.7 m2 contractor packs then Pointfix contractor packs will give you perfect coverage and save you money.

Circle Features

In addition to the standard paving packs, Buff Classic is also available in three sizes of Circle Feature Kits and their corresponding Squaring Off Kits - please see the related products for details.

Calibrated

Buff Classic is Calibrated - these paving slabs have been through a calibration process so each slab is 22mm thick. This precision manufacturing will allow the slabs to be laid quicker and more efficiently as all depths are uniform.

Colour Blends

The colour variation of natural stone will vary not just from stone to stone, but it will also appear differently in changing light and weather conditions, so you’ll be able to enjoy these fluctuations from season to season. Sandstone is naturally a little permeable, so in wet-weather, some of the surface water will be absorbed by the stone making the buff colouring appear much darker, akin to khaki.

Unique Patterning

As with any natural product, quarried sandstone that has been riven, edge-cut and dressed into a slab will vary uniquely from paver to paver.

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock that was formed on ancient sea beds over many millions of years. Over that time unique patterns and variations of sandy deposits on the seafloor were compressed under the weight of the sea and gravity to fuse and form these beautiful stones.

The colouring, flecks and patterns of these stones reflect their innate natural beauty.

Indian Sandstone

These pavers are quarried from the highest quality Indian sandstone, where our expert quarrymen select and cut the slabs. With their years of experience, our masons cut and shape the stone to exacting standards, so you can be assured you are getting the highest quality paving in each pack.
