The McAlpine MBSWSS85 is a 'Mini' basket strainer waste suitable for kitchen sinks and extremely popular for use with Belfast sinks. The waste has a smaller 85mm stainless steel flange with a stemball type plug which can be pushed in to close the waste for the filling of your sink or lifted to allow waste water to pass whilst collecting any waste debris. The plug can be removed for disposing of such waste debris and returned back in place. A standard 1 1/2" BSP thread sits at the base of the body of the waste to allow connection of your desired waste trap. This model strainer waste has an overflow connection in the waste body which comes blanked off.
