The McAlpine X10V is a Straight Through Basin Pedestal Trap with Anti-Syphon to prevent gurgling and noises from siphonage when in use. The 1 1/4" swivel nut connection connects to the basin waste outlet discharging the waste water through the trap with an inlet and outlet which sit directly in line. A multifit compression outlet then connects to your waste pipe to take the waste water away. Incorporated into the trap is not only the anti-syphon valve to eliminate noise but also a cleaning eye allowing for maintenance of the trap without the need for removal.
