If your household has high water pressure, often when it is brought to as a sudden halt through things such as valves on the system or even lever taps it can create a vibration in the pipes. This can be not only annoying but can lead to damage in pipework by splitting joints.

This mini expansion vessel or shock arrestor can help alleviate that as it cushions the impact through a small membrane in the vessel. The vessel can be installed both vertically and horizontally in the pipework before the outlet or valve causing the problem.
