The Floplast range of MDPE fittings are suitable for use above and below ground for mains cold water supplies. The compression fittings are WRAS approved and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 12201 - 3. The fittings are manufactured from a high quality Polyethylene and suitable for pressures up to 16 bar. Simple to use a liner is placed into the pipe which is then pushed into the fitting as far as it can go. A simple few turns of the nut creates your compression joint with the grab ring taking hold. Suitable lubricant is recommended before inserting the pipe.
