The Mk2 version has been introduced due to demand for a smaller version of the surface mounted Gas meter Box.

The cover can be removed in order to facilitate easy fitting and maintenance of the box and the meter installation.

408mm wide x 510mm high x 242mm deep.

UK Standard Mark 2 surface mounted gas meter box. This gas meter box has been designed for installations to British Standard BS6400:1:2:3.

Compliant to British Standard BS 8499: 2009

Fire retardant to BS 476, Part. 7, 1997, Class 2

Constructed from GRP – Glass Reinforced Plastic

Suitable for all meters including prepay and smart

Will not corrode, weather resistant

Easily cleaned and can be painted

Complete with MK2 back plates, hinges, lock and key

3 part box (Door, box and back)

MK2 Surface Mounted Gas Meter Box

Was a couple of cms different in size,but thought I'd take a chance. I already had the back of the old meter box fixed on the wall so wasn't sure if I could slot this onto the old one. I did!! It fits perfect although cms different and was the cheapest. Delivered next day as requested!
