DS-3 limescale remover from Fernox is a powerful product in the removal of hardened limescale deposits on domestic appliances and boiler heat exchangers. Environmentally friendly and easy to use, the product is used by dissolving in hot water and when applied goes through a colour change, indicating when the de-scaling process is complete. The de-scaling process will release carbon dioxide gas (CO2), which can cause foaming when in use. DS-3 is safe for use with steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper, brass, PVC, ABS rubber polythene and most plastic pipework.

Limitations: It should not be used with thin gauge or corroded aluminium, zinc, galvanised steel, acrylic (e.g. plastic kettles and baths) chromium plated or enamel surfaces (e.g. baths), concrete and asbestos.

* Fernox DS-3 is a hazardous product so if in doubt check with the product manufacturer *
