Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream 5L is a water repellent cream that penetrates more deeply into brick, stone and concrete than liquid-applied alternatives.

Unlike many sealer products that coat masonry with a thin layer of film, Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream 5L is specially formulated to line the pores of masonry rather than blocking them, which allows the wall to breathe.

Preparation & Application:

Always do a test area before full treatment. Though formulated to be colourless once cured, very slight darkening may occur when it is applied to some substrates.
Only apply Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream 5L to dry, porous surfaces. Don’t apply over sealed or painted surfaces. Intended for aboveground use only. Only apply when rain is not forecast for 24 hours.

Check all joint and roof connections first. Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream 5L can bridge hairline cracks up to 0.3mm. It may be necessary to fill cracks in brick/ stonework and repoint using a suitable sand/lime or sand/cement mortar incorporating Stormdry Repointing Additive.

Clean dirty surfaces beforehand to the recommendations given in BS8221-1:2000, “Code of practice for cleaning and surface repair of buildings. Cleaning of natural stones, brick, terracotta and concrete.” DO NOT USE DETERGENTS. Avoid applying to structures containing high levels of salt.
